Senior Proposal Writer

About the Role

Senior Proposal Writer with exposure to GIS solutions and Federal Government contracting

• Support the

  end-to-end proposal lifecycle

  for Federal opportunities, from identification to submission.
• Research opportunities using

  GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, USAspending.gov

  , and other federal databases.
• Write, edit, and format

  proposals, RFI responses, capability statements, past performance narratives

  , and related BD documents.
• Develop and manage

  proposal calendars, compliance matrices, and review schedules

  to ensure timely submission.
• Collaborate with

  capture managers, proposal managers, sales teams, and technical SMEs

  to create compelling proposal content.
• Conduct research on potential

  teaming partners and subcontractors

  , coordinating with them for joint BD activities.
• Maintain proposal libraries and

  knowledge management repositories

  in SharePoint/CRM systems.
• Track and update opportunities in

  corporate CRM tools (e.g., Next Stage)

  and prepare periodic status reports.
• Review and analyze RFIs, draft RFPs, and final RFPs for compliance and clarity.
• Conduct background research on

  government agencies, GIS-related opportunities

  , and engage with contracting officers/program managers as needed.
• Occasionally represent the company at industry events, conferences, or virtual forums.

Requirements

• Experience in

  Federal Government contracting and proposal writing

  .
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills for technical and business documents.
• Familiarity with

  GIS solutions, ESRI products, and geospatial technology proposals

  (preferred).
• Proficiency in

  MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  ; ability to quickly adapt to new productivity tools.
• Familiarity with

  BD tools

  such as GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, and USAspending.gov.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• R rong communication skills to collaborate across

  sales, technical, and leadership teams
