Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager at Citi, you will be responsible for managing professional teams and departments, integrating subject matter expertise, and contributing to standards within your defined area. Your role will involve coordinating and contributing to the objectives of the entire function, demonstrating basic commercial awareness, and utilizing communication and diplomacy skills to guide and influence colleagues and external customers. You will oversee volume, quality, timeliness, and delivery of end results, and may also be involved in planning, budgeting, and policy formulation within your area of expertise. Responsibilities: - Directing, coordinating, implementing, executing, controlling, and completing specified projects in alignment with Citi project management governance - Managing people managers to align organizational objectives and individual development plans - Project managing small projects while overseeing the total project list, especially key critical projects - Resolving complex problems or transactions by interpreting against policies, guidelines, or processes - Owning one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, and serving as an analytical or procedural expert - Supervising the day-to-day work of junior level employees - Managing a team consisting of support staff and/or entry-level analysts - Creating project plans, benefits management plans, stakeholder management plans, acceptance plans, and project issue logs - Assigning resources to projects, monitoring commitments, and executing change control - Tracking project costs, identifying variances, and reforecasting project costs - Measuring project management performance against standards - Establishing project communication needs and risk management plans - Partnering with cross-functional peers to administer, track, and close project contracts - Assessing risks in business decisions and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations Qualifications: - 6-10 years of project management experience in financial services - Experience in supervising project managers, business analysts, or project officers - Interaction at Board/Executive management level of businesses - Broad understanding of business practices - Capacity to work in highly pressured and volatile environments Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, inviting all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.,
