Senior Programme Associate – Outreach & Engagement

DataLEADS is looking for a dynamic Senior Programme Associate – Outreach & Engagement to join our Delhi office. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in outreach, communications, and event coordination, and will work at the intersection of digital engagement and grassroots mobilisation to help drive awareness and participation in the project.

Key Responsibilities :

• Digital Communication & Engagement
  • Manage the project’s web page and all associated social media handles.
  • Design and implement a social media calendar to promote events (online/offline), helpline information, and key resources.
  • Collaborate closely with the content development team to develop creative content (print/video/audio) and ensure messaging is engaging, inclusive, and aligned with project goals.
• Content Development & Dissemination
  • Support the development of digital and print materials for outreach, awareness, and mass communication via helpline numbers and SMS/WhatsApp campaigns.
  • Source and curate real-life testimonials and stories from beneficiaries at the grassroots level to amplify impact narratives.
• Outreach & Stakeholder Engagement
  Support and manage the local team for
  • Coordination with local NGOs, educational institutions, and partner organisations to support ongoing outreach activities
  • Organising and facilitating community workshops, student webinars, and counselling sessions.
  • Maintaining regular communication to ensure outreach efforts are aligned and effective
• Monitoring, Documentation & Reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate collection of outreach and participation data in a pre-defined format.
  • Maintain process records and activity documentation to support project evaluation and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and deployment of awareness and advocacy tools in collaboration with regional partners.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Development Studies, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience in outreach, project coordination, research support, or event management, preferably within the development or social impact sector.
• Strong understanding of community mobilisation strategies, particularly among youth populations.
• Demonstrated experience in managing digital communication platforms and social media campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Working knowledge of Hindi is essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with local partners, creative teams, and programme staff.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
