Senior Production Supervisor

To supervise and coordinate all production activities in the wooden door manufacturing unit, ensuring that targets for quantity, quality, cost, and safety are achieved through effective utilization of manpower, materials, and machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Control
• Execute daily and weekly production plans as per the schedule.
• Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Maintain daily production reports and ensure system entries are updated accurately.
• Manpower Management
• Allocate manpower effectively across workstations (cutting, pressing, assembling, polishing, etc.).
• Supervise and guide operators and helpers to achieve productivity targets.
• Coordinate with HR for attendance, shift scheduling, and workforce discipline.
• Quality Control
• Ensure products meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
• Work closely with the Quality team to implement corrective actions for rejections or deviations.
• Promote continuous improvement to reduce defects and waste.
• Machine & Material Handling
• Ensure machines are properly maintained and operated safely.
• Report any breakdowns or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Monitor raw material and consumable usage to minimize wastage.
• Safety & Housekeeping
• Enforce safety standards and ensure all workers use PPE.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
• Report and record any incidents, near-misses, or unsafe practices.
• Coordination & Communication
• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, and Maintenance departments for smooth production flow.
• Support trials of new materials or process improvements.
• Attend daily review meetings and present production performance data.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Wood Technology or equivalent.
• 3–6 years of experience in a wood / furniture / door manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
