Senior Product Owner

As a Senior Product Owner at Trintech, you will play a crucial role in product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, managing client expectations, and owning the release backlog for multiple scrum teams. You will work closely with Product Management teams to define detailed requirements and enhance the Enterprise product portfolio with new capabilities to improve automation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather business requirements, accurately document functional requirements, create backlog and communicate to product management team and scrum teams - Ensure quality and accuracy of product stories, use cases, and functional specifications for ready epics - Manage communication and impact of requirement changes, make key product decisions within sprint cycles - Understand team velocity to assist with backlog prioritization and determine work completion criteria - Manage multiple Scrum Teams, report project milestones to senior management - Collaborate with product marketing and technical writers for marketing, training, and user documentation **Qualifications Required:** - Overall 8+ years of progressive experience as a Product Owner and Scrum Master in a Product development setup - 2+ years of experience in handling Business Analyst/Product Owner role in B2B Enterprise product setup - Demonstrable knowledge of leading and executing in Agile methodology using scrum - Strong written communication skills with proficiency in MS Office tools, JIRA/Azure DevOps - Problem-solving skills with familiarity in web-based software and relational database - Understanding of financial close and reconciliation concepts and practices **Nice to Have:** - Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority - Experience in product demonstration to large groups - Testing and validation experience is desired **Education and Certifications:** - Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, business, or related field - Certified Scrum Product Owner (Must), Certified Scrum Master (nice to have) Trintech, headquartered in Plano, Texas, has a global presence with offices in multiple countries.
