Senior Product Owner

Travel Industry

Location: Remote based out of India.

Salary: Competitive ongoing project

Candidate must be comfortable working during U.S. business hours and have flexibility in their schedule. They should be open to attending late evening calls (up to 9:30 PM IST, Monday to Thursday) as needed, and be committed to meeting project deadlines across multiple time zones.

Strong product management experience as it pertains to (but not limited to) –

* Understanding product vision and supporting product manager in executing the roadmap

* Supporting product manager in prioritizing backlog items

* Bridging the gap between the business and technical aspects of software development

* Assisting the development team in clarifying requirements and helping them to understand the business side.

* Independently managing agile team and ceremonies, ensuring that developers understand each project's requirements, coordinate with them.

* Communicating with stakeholders is important to ensure everyone is aligned on the features, functionality, timelines, and other details.

* Documenting logical or data flow diagrams

* Communicating project status and roadblocks with other members of the team

* Aiding the product manager in determining and managing technical stories

* Assisting in the creation of stories relating to debts involving technical nature

Minimum Qualification

* At least 5 years of experience in technology product management or data-related products.

* At least 5 years of experience in Software Architecture and Software Development.

* Minimum 3 years’ experience with SQL

* Experience with agile methodologies and rally.

* An ability to solve complex problems and a highly analytical approach.

* Demonstrate the ability to learn and be curious to understand and master the travel domain. You are excited and passionate for the travel domain.

* Self-starter with the ability to think creatively and strategically.

* Can-do attitude

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment. Able to create PPT for presentations.

* Demonstrate the ability to maintain a positive attitude and sense of humor in the face of chaos and challenges.

* Has a successful record of leading and coordinating business, delivery, and technology teams to define, prioritize, and deliver on a product roadmap

* Strong product management skills that will take full ownership from analysis through implementation.

* High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability.

* Good to have - experience in travel domain or minimum background in financial domain

Platform Knowledge

* Experience working SQL tool (i.e hive, yellowbrick,etc) and big data related products (i.e Cornerstone, Google Cloud Platform, etc)

Education

* Bachelors in related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineer)

CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner)
