Senior Procurement Manager

The Senior Procurement Manager of IT / Software at [24]7.ai, Prestige Platina Tech Park, Kadubeesanahalli, Bangalore, will play a crucial role in identifying and screening suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions, enhancing supplier service levels, mitigating risks, and enhancing business outcomes. This role involves standardizing and automating procurement best practices for various Commodities, Products & Services such as DC Colo, IT Infra, Info Security, Cloud Infra, Software Subscriptions, Telco circuits, Lead generation and Marketing services, Professional services, Digital Media, and more. With a total of 14-18 years of experience in a Shared Service environment, including a minimum of 10+ years in IT procurement, the ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of IT and ITES industries. Key responsibilities include preparing for negotiations, demonstrating excellent negotiation skills, managing stakeholders effectively, fostering continuous improvement, implementing strategic sourcing strategies, and overseeing a diverse customer base. The Senior Manager will drive deals to closure through proactive follow-ups, possess strong organizational skills, demonstrate resourcefulness, adhere to ethical standards, exhibit foresight and agility, and showcase a quick learning ability. Analyzing empirical data and historical pricing and terms for repeat purchases will also be part of the role. Specific duties will include strategic sourcing to optimize costs and ensure fair supplier selection, examining deals from a commercial perspective, collaborating with Department Heads to understand requirements, negotiating prices, engaging with stakeholders and Legal teams for contract finalization, and issuing purchase orders to vendors.
