Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Process Design Engineer with strong expertise in Oil & Gas process design and simulation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, specification, optimization, and technical oversight of oil and gas processing systems such as Gas Dehydration, Sweetening Units, Heat Exchangers, Separators, and related systems.

Key Competency Areas:

• Process Design:

• Gas & TEG Dehydration, Gas Sweetening, Molecular Sieve Systems, FPSO, Condensate Stabilization, Dew Point Depression.
  
• Oil, Gas, and Water Separation systems: Knockout drums, Filter Separators, Treaters, Desalters, Incinerators, and Tanks.
  
• Thermal design of Water Bath Heaters and Convective Heaters.
  

• Calculation & Simulation:

• Pump & Line Sizing, PSV Sizing.
  
• Process simulation using

  Aspen HYSYS

  .
• Thermal design via

  HTRI

  and

  Aspen EDR

  .

• Codes & Standards Knowledge:

• ASME, API, NACE, ISO 9001 compliance.
  

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer specifications and requirements and translate them into robust process designs.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable international standards and statutory norms.
  
• Execute and review design documents (BFD, PFD, P&ID, C&E diagrams).
  
• Conduct equipment sizing and line sizing calculations.
  
• Prepare and review technical specifications, datasheets, RFQs for procured items.
  
• Select appropriate materials based on process fluid characteristics and corrosion concerns.
  
• Review alternate proposals and manage scope changes to minimize impact on cost and delivery.
  
• Liaise with CAD teams for accurate process-related drawings and layouts.
  
• Lead and participate in HAZOP reviews and ensure design safety compliance.
  
• Support commissioning, start-up, and performance testing phases at project sites.
  
• Oversee QMS documentation, participate in continual improvement, and uphold quality compliance.
  
• Optimize designs using simulation tools and standardization to improve cost-effectiveness and lead times.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Bachelors Degree in

  Chemical Engineering

• 10+ years

  of core process design experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proven track record in simulation, equipment sizing, and engineering documentation.
  
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
