Job Description

You will be responsible for designing and developing high-temperature thermal energy systems. This includes performing process and thermal calculations for heat exchangers and Thermal Energy Storage systems. You will also be required to prepare specification sheets and detailed fabrication drawings for manufacturing, review and finalize manufacturing drawings, and oversee fabrication in coordination with the manufacturing team. Additionally, you will need to validate and enhance design through thermal simulations and participate in the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) process as required. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop high-temperature thermal energy systems - Perform process and thermal calculations for heat exchangers and TES - Prepare specification sheets and detailed fabrication drawings for manufacturing - Review and finalize manufacturing drawings - Oversee fabrication in coordination with the manufacturing team - Validate and enhance design through thermal simulations - Participate in the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) process as required Qualifications Required: - Proven expertise in thermal energy systems, heat exchangers, and high-temperature systems - Strong understanding of high-temperature materials (metals and non-metals), steam cycles, and boiler systems - Deep hands-on experience with process engineering and P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, plant layout, pipe routing, FEED, heat and mass balances, and thermal/mechanical calculations - Ability to design, select, and size process ancillaries such as pumps, pipes, valves, fans, control systems, instruments, etc. - Familiarity with ASME / IBR / API / Indian Standards - Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks About Us: At Voltanova, we are developing the world's lowest-cost, long-duration thermal energy storage system designed to deliver heat/power at up to 2000C and decarbonize heavy industry, 24/7.,
