Senior Principal Cloud Development Engineer, Cloud AI & Backing

• Create and manage powerful, Kubernetes-native systems using Golang, Java or Python.
• Develop designs for services in a cloud-native environment with a focus on integrating and optimizing GenAI models.
• Ensure high quality and smooth releases by heavily investing in tests and automation.
• Explore new tools and technologies to improve Pega Cloud, especially in the realm of Generative AI.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Operations teams in an Agile way.
• Offer guidance and support to your teammates, particularly in the area of GenAI development and implementation.

• You are a passionate developer with a deep interest in Generative AI.
• You stay updated with the latest advancements in GenAI, including models, use cases, and industry trends.
• You understand DevOps culture well, and you consider yourself to be a technically versatile person.
• You bring good practices around design patterns with you, which you can leverage to support our Pega Cloud with our "as-a-Service" evolution, particularly in the context of GenAI.

• Extensive relevant experience.
• Designed microservices-based architecture leveraging cloud-native design patterns and serverless frameworks, with emphasis on scalability and HA.
• Very strong knowledge of Golang, Java or similar languages.
• Very good understanding and experience in Cloud technologies, ideally with multi - cloud perspective (should present knowledge level of AWS Associate Architect or equivalent for Google or Azure).
• Very good knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (Helm/Terraform).
• Very good knowledge and experience in Docker and Kubernetes (having CKAD certification is a plus).
• Proven ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, debug, and Linux and development stack (Linux, Tomcat, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Generative AI. However, if you lack direct experience, we seek individuals with demonstrated knowledge and a strong passion for Generative AI.
• Passionate about staying updated with the latest advancements in GenAI and applying them to real-world use cases.
• Very good command of English.
