Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience to support the onboarding of applications to the ELK platform across multiple environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ELK stack components and be able to work closely with senior ELK engineers, DevOps, infrastructure, cloud, and security teams.

Roles and Responsibility

Configure Beats and Elastic agents for log forwarding and validate connectivity, including firewalls, DNS, ports, and certificates.
Check agent logs for errors and identify ingestion failures, mapping issues, or pipeline errors.
Create Kibana dashboards and alerts, and update SOPs, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
Record common onboarding issues and resolutions, and troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Collaborate with application owners to collect log sources, formats, endpoints, and ingestion requirements.
Support log agent installation (Filebeat, Elastic agents) and validate log ingestion, pipelines, mappings, and dashboards.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field.
2 to 5 years of experience working within a large enterprise consisting of diverse teams.
Hands-on experience with ELK stack components (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Experience installing beat and elastic agents.
Good understanding of Linux commands and basic networking concepts (ports, protocols, connectivity testing).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
