Crenovent is building a modern AI-driven data and automation platform for Revenue Organizations. We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who can work as a strong individual contributor, owning architectural designs, technical frameworks, and integration patterns across our backend and data systems.

This is a hands-on architecture role where you will help define how the platform is structured, how data flows across components, and how reliability, scalability, and performance are achieved.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the architecture of our data platform: ingestion pipelines, multi-tenant Postgres (RLS/pgvector), OneLake/Fabric integration, and event-driven workflows.

• Design backend and service-level frameworks using FastAPI/Node.js, microservices, and event systems.

• Define API contracts, data schemas, and system interaction patterns across services.

• Support real-time data flows, metadata/semantic layers, and governance/observability setup.

• Collaborate closely with backend, data, DevOps, and automation engineers to maintain platform coherence.

• Review technical designs and ensure best practices for reliability, scalability, and system quality.

• Help evolve the platform to support knowledge graph, RAG, and AI-driven components.

What You Bring

• 5–7 years of experience in backend engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and data architecture fundamentals.

• Experience with Postgres (RLS/multi-tenant), Kafka/Event Hubs, Redis, FastAPI/Node.js.

• Experience with modern data tools (dbt, Airflow, OpenMetadata, OPA/Kyverno) is a plus.

• Ability to convert business and product requirements into clean architectural designs.

• A hands-on, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
