Senior Pipe Stress Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and Lead pipe stress analysis using industry-standard tools (CAESAR II / AutoPIPE).
• Review P&IDs, layouts, isometrics, and support drawings for accurate analysis.
• Conduct stress calculations for all critical lines, including high-temperature, high-pressure, vibration-sensitive, and rotating equipment lines.
• Perform flexibility analysis and recommend suitable pipe supports.
• Prepare stress reports, load summaries, support recommendations, and documentation.
• Coordinate with piping, mechanical, structural, and project teams for effective design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, and other relevant codes.
• Handle stress-related queries during design, construction, and modification phases.
• Work independently and manage time efficiently to meet project timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related).
• 5–10 years of experience in pipe stress analysis within the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Refinery sector.
• Strong hands-on experience in CAESAR II (mandatory) , Staad pro Added Advantage.
• Good knowledge of international design codes and standards.
• Ability to review and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
