Position: Senior PHP Architect Experience: 10+ Years in PHP Architecture Location: Any location out of these (in order of priority): - Bangalore - Pune - Chennai - Gurugram (Cybercity) - Hyderabad Job type: Contractual (Hybrid) Tenure: 6 months Key Responsibilities ● Lead system architecture and design for enterprise-scale PHP applications. ● Provide technical leadership across multiple teams, ensuring code quality and architectural consistency. ● Define and implement best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines across the development lifecycle. ● Drive architecture reviews, code audits, and performance optimization strategies. ●Spearhead migration of legacy PHP systems to modern frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter. ● Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business goals and technical strategy. ● Mentor development teams and foster a culture of innovation, scalability, and maintainability. ● Ensure seamless integration between back-end architecture and front-end components. ● Lead AWS cloud deployment strategies and application scalability efforts. Primary Skills ● 10+ years of deep experience in PHP architecture with hands-on proficiency in Laravel and/or CodeIgniter ● Strong understanding of enterprise architecture patterns, design principles, and modular system design ● Expertise in front-end integration using JavaScript (preferably jQuery or modern frameworks) ● Solid experience in CSS for UI/UX consistency and responsive design ● Proven track record of handling legacy system modernization. Secondary Skills ● Advanced knowledge of MySQL, including data modeling, optimization, and performance tuning ● Practical experience with AWS services for deployment, scaling, and monitoring ● Strong understanding of APIs, Microservices architecture, and event-driven systems ● Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) using tools like phpUnit. ● Bonus: Working knowledge of Python for auxiliary components or scripting. Soft Skills ● Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. ● Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills. ● Ability to mentor, guide, and influence technical teams. ● Strategic thinking combined with hands-on implementation.
