Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain large-scale optical networks using Ciena, Infinera, Huawei, Nokia, and other relevant technologies.
Conduct site surveys to identify network requirements and optimize fiber optic infrastructure for maximum efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and maintenance activities.
Troubleshoot complex issues related to DWDM systems, ROADMs, transponders, amplifiers, POPs (Point of Presence), BERTs (Bidirectional Ethernet Rooms), NOC operations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards for optical networking protocols such as SONET/SDH/DWDM/OTN.

Desired Candidate Profile

6-11 years of experience in Optical Network Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of fiber optics principles and telecommunications technology.
Proficiency in designing deploying calibrating verifying optical networks using various vendors' equipment (Ciena Infinera Huawei Nokia).
Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines while ensuring high-quality results.
