Key Responsibilities: - Analyzing the current operating model, especially for manufacturing clients - Developing a vision for the manufacturing organization aligned with business strategy and objectives - Designing and implementing frameworks to measure and manage the organization's selected operating model - Driving operational excellence to enhance client performance and supply chain stability - Implementing EY Smart factory solutions - Improving resource utilization and customer satisfaction through measures like OEE, lot size adjustments, SMED, Predictive Maintenance, TPM, 5S, and 7QC Tools - Hands-on experience with shop-floor processes and engaging with shopfloor personnel to understand and address real issues - Leading digital transformation projects for various manufacturing processes - Familiarity with systems like Agile, MES, ERP, and QMS - Assisting in digital shop floor transformation and deploying modern technology solutions for the Factory of the Future - Strong analytical skills to interpret structured and unstructured data from manufacturing processes and derive actionable insights - Contributing to building an industry-focused practice within EY GDS service lines - Identifying opportunities and guiding others towards innovative solutions for complex problems - Engaging with CXOs to present rational recommendations and solutions effectively Qualifications Required: - Academic qualification: MBA from IIMC PGPEX VLM, NITIE, or Tier I colleges (preferably in Operations Management) - Work Experience: 6-10 years of experience in Manufacturing/OP-Ex/Performance Improvement/maintenance within a core manufacturing sector - Willingness to travel internationally for short- or medium-term assignments up to 50% of the time Company Details: EY is committed to building a better working world by delivering long-term value for clients, society, and capital markets.
