Position Overview:

The Senior Operations Manager will oversee all projects undertaken by the company once handed over from the Sales and Marketing Department to the Projects Department.

This role requires comprehensive operational ownership - from project initiation to commissioning - including planning, procurement coordination, production monitoring, quality assurance, dispatch, client communication, and financial tracking. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep understanding of renewable energy systems, industrial automation, and smart grid technologies like SCADA, PPC, EMS, and BESS.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Computer Science, or related fields.
• MBA or Postgraduate degree in Operations / Project Management preferred.
• PMP certification is a plus.

Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Project/Operations Management within Renewable Energy, SCADA, EMS/PPC, or Industrial Automation sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from design to commissioning.
• Strong coordination experience with Purchase, Production, and Commissioning departments.

Technical Skills:

1) Strong knowledge of:

• SCADA, PPC, EMS, CMS, CMMS, and BESS systems

• Industrial communication protocols

  Modbus, IEC 104, IEC 61850

• Cybersecurity compliance

  IEC 62443 framework

• Project documentation and QA/QC standards

  (FAT/SAT, test reports, commissioning protocols)

2) Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (Zoho Projects, MS Project, Excel).

3) Understanding of renewable energy data analytics and performance monitoring dashboards.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communicator with both clients and internal teams.
• Decision-maker with hands-on problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
