Senior Officer - Production (API)

• 1.      Reporting to Head manufacturing.
• 2.      Managing production activities in his area to facilitate achievement of production targets in adherence to quality, safety and cost standards.
• 3.      Review and planning of day-to-day production schedule.
• 4.      Ensure adherence to prescribed safety/quality compliance through trainings and daily supervision of shop floor.
• 5.      Filling of change controls.
• 6.      To follow the grievance procedure of workmen & solve problem timely & report to Head manufacturing.
• 7.      To allocate the work to technicians & complete the production as per given plan.
• 8.      Handover authorized BMR, formats to Operative Technicians.
• 9.      To ensure that safety practices and PPEs are used during processing.
• 10.  To supervise the running process & to check the standard check points as mentioned in BMRs.
• 11.  To review daily records of balance calibration, pressure difference & housekeeping etc.
• 12.  To review entries in Equipment log book during his shift.
• 13.  To issue Technical Information sheet & Sampling Advice Sheets to QC as per requirement.
• 14.  To raise the consumable requisition & receive material accordingly.
• 15.  To perform SAP related activities as per requirement.
• 16.  Preparation of manual production order.
• 17.  To receive & check the RM & PM as per process & packing Order respectively.
• 18.  To raise the job orders and ensure that breakdown maintenance is done.
• 19.  To hand over spent solvents, disposable materials to Warehouse / EHS.
• 20.  To carry out production of new product trial & validation batches with CPRL Dept.
• 21.  To prepare Yield Statement, manufacturing & dispatch reports.
• 22.  To prepare & maintain calibration records as per schedule.
• 23.  Participation in investigations related to customer complaint, deviation, OOS and OOT.
• 24.  Prepare deviation reports and participate in the timely and accurate investigation, recommendation and implementation of CAPA for deviations, OOS, OOT & customer complaint.
• 25.  To impart on job training to Operative Technicians / Trainee Operative Technicians.
• 26.  To supervise the pest control treatment activity in plant.
• 27.  Review & Checking of batch manufacturing records & submit the finish batch manufacturing records to QA.
• 28.  To hand over charge to reliever of next shift.
• 29.  To handle the responsibility and authority of Head Manufacturing in his absence.

Note: In absence of Sr. Executive Mfg., Executive, Sr. Officer Mfg./ Officer Mfg. shall execute the authorities of Sr. Executive Mfg.
