Senior Odoo Developer cum Team lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy customized Odoo modules for Dealer Management operations such as Vehicle Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Inventory, CRM, and Finance.
  
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards, timelines, and quality deliverables.
  
• Collaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  
• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications like DMS-specific tools, manufacturer portals, and payment gateways.
  
• Manage system performance, troubleshoot issues, and handle version upgrades and data migrations.
  
• Ensure seamless communication between dealerships and head office through centralized ERP solutions.
  
• Oversee testing, deployment, and post-implementation support of Odoo applications.
  
• Maintain documentation of customization and workflows for future reference and audits.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Odoo (v11 to v16+), with a focus on DMS or similar domain workflows.
  
• Proficient in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and Odoos ORM.
  
• Deep understanding of dealership business processes such as Vehicle Lifecycle, Inventory Management, Service Scheduling, Parts Ordering, and Warranty Management.
  
• Experience in leading teams and managing end-to-end Odoo project implementations.
  
• Knowledge of Git, Odoo.sh, Docker, and Linux environments.
  
• Ability to analyze complex workflows and optimize for performance and scalability.
  
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  
• Previous experience working in the Automobile or Equipment Dealership industry is highly desirable.
  
• Odoo Certification or similar ERP-related certifications is a plus.
