Description
Job Title : Senior Developer – Node.js | AWS | OpenAI Location : Ahmedabad/Vadodara Experience Required : 6+ Years Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS Cloud Services , as well as a passion for working with OpenAI APIs . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building high-performance, scalable backend systems, managing large datasets, and implementing intelligent automation. Key Responsibilities: ü Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Express.js ü Architect scalable systems using PostgreSQL and Redis for large data handling and caching ü Integrate and optimize OpenAI API usage for AI-powered functionalities ü Develop and maintain containerized services using AWS ECS ü Manage storage solutions via AWS S3 and configure access and lifecycle rules ü Configure and maintain Elastic Load Balancers and API Gateways for secure and optimized routing ü Implement observability using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail , and log aggregation tools ü Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and coverage ü Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Frontend, Product, and AI/ML engineers ü Optimize and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in database queries and backend logic ü Enforce best practices in code reviews, security, and system architecture Must-Have Skills: ü 6+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript ü Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Redis Cache ü Deep understanding of RESTful API design, Express.js , and middleware architecture ü Experience with OpenAI APIs (ChatGPT, GPT-4, embeddings, fine-tuning, etc.) ü Hands-on experience with AWS services: ECS, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail ü Experience with unit testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or similar ü Proven track record of working with large databases and scalable architecture ü Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy compliance Good to Have: ü Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC ü CI/CD experience with tools like GitHub Actions , CodePipeline , or Jenkins ü Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CDK ü Exposure to AI/ML workflows or prompt engineering Show more Show less
