Job Description

Senior Network EngineerExperience Level : Mid-Senior (5+ Years)Location : Chennai, Tamil Nadu, IndiaWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale network infrastructure. The role requires strong technical expertise and proven experience in managing LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks to ensure high availability, reliability, and secure operations for business-critical services.

Role & Responsibilities

  • The key responsibilities include designing and configuring core network infrastructure, implementing LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi solutions, and ensuring network security compliance through firewall configuration, vulnerability management, and timely application of CVE fixes.
  • The role also involves troubleshooting complex networking issues, optimizing performance through advanced routing and switching techniques, and collaborating with cross-functional and global teams for smooth network rollouts, migrations, and upgrades.
  • The candidate will also be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed network documentation, including low-level and high-level designs, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures, to ensure clear operational processes.

Skills Required

  • The required skill set includes strong hands-on expertise with Cisco and Aruba networking technologies, in-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS, and familiarity with network monitoring and automation tools.
  • A solid understanding of network security best practices and experience with firewalls, traffic management, and performance tuning are essential.
  • Exposure to enterprise-scale network monitoring systems will be an added advantage.
  • The role demands excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to work effectively under pressure, and strong communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders. CCNA certification is mandatory, while CCNP or Aruba certifications are highly preferred.
The position may require flexibility for weekend project support or migrations based on business requirement
