Job description :

Key Responsibilities: ? Network Design and Implementation: Design and implement network solutions to meet business requirements. Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN). ? Network Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure network stability and security. ? Troubleshooting and Support: Provide L2/L3 support for network-related issues. Diagnose and resolve complex network problems, working closely with other IT teams and vendors as needed. ? Performance Monitoring: Monitor network performance and security, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively. Utilize network monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance. ? Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures. Ensure all network diagrams and documentation are up-to-date. ? Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other IT professionals to optimize and secure the network. Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives. Qualifications: ? Education: Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. ? Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent certifications. ? Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering and support. Experience with L2/L3 support and troubleshooting. ? Technical Skills: ? Strong understanding of network protocols, configurations, and security principles. ? Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (routers, switches, firewalls). ? Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques. ? Knowledge of VPN setup, firewall configuration, and Active Directory management. ? Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus. ? Soft Skills: ? Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ? Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Work Environment: ? This position may require occasional on-call support and the ability to work flexible hours.
