Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for maintaining high levels of network availability and security to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement functional network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN)

· Configure and install firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices

· Configure, install, and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches (e.g., Cisco Catalyst, Juniper EX, HP Aruba)

· Implement VLANs, trunking, and inter-VLAN routing for efficient traffic segregation

· Design and implement Spanning Tree Protocol (STP, RSTP, MST) to prevent network loops

· Troubleshoot switching-related issues such as port flapping, collisions, and broadcast storms

· Ensure Quality of Service (QoS) policies are applied on switches to prioritize critical traffic (e.g., VoIP)

· Troubleshoot network issues and outages, and perform upgrades and preventative maintenance

· Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access

· Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

· Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and upgrades

· Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

· Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator

· Solid knowledge of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

· Hands-on experience with Cisco, or other networking equipment

· Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds)

· Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

· Relevant certifications such as CCNA, or others

· Knowedge with cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)

· Experience with SD-WAN, VoIP, and wireless networking

Soft Skills:

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
