Senior Millwork Design Engineer

Senior Millwork Design Engineer produces 2D and 3D shop drawings of Interior Furniture /Woodworking /Millwork for Production/Construction purposes. Working closely with Client and Project manager. Senior Millwork Design Engineer translates concepts and ideas into precise and accurate technical shop drawings. Independently review architectural inputs, sketches, and specifications, and generate detailed 2D and 3D millwork shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. In-depth review of the architectural drawing set and scope of work to create a detailed query document, clearly outlining assumptions, considerations, missing information, and specifications. Effectively communicate design concepts, specifications, and technical details to the client and project manager, ensuring all parties are aligned with the project vision and goals. Provide guidance to junior team members to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality output. Assign tasks appropriately, regularly monitor progress, and provide ongoing support to team members. Conduct training programs to enhance the team s expertise in complex-level millwork approaches, architectural drawing review processes, and the collection of accurate information on a regular basis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader project goals, fostering a cohesive working environment. Take complete ownership of assigned projects, ensuring that all deliverables meet high-quality standards and are completed on schedule. Stay informed on the latest millwork trends, techniques, and tools. Provide training and share knowledge with team members to ensure they are updated with industry advancements. Provide regular, constructive feedback to team members regarding drawing standards, quality, and alignment with client requirements. Ensure continuous improvement in team output.
