Automation Engineer Lead Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate automation activities across multiple workstreams, including internal teams, data partners, integrated systems, and external vendors.
• Query, validate, and analyze data to verify results and troubleshoot production issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites aligned with speed-to-market and quality goals.
• Optimize automated test cases and framework artifacts for smooth execution in CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify and escalate risks and issues promptly to enable timely corrective action.
• Participate in manual and exploratory testing as required to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Document, track, and resolve defects using established defect lifecycle and reporting practices.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Engineering best practices and contribute to their continuous improvement.
• Contribute to enhancements of the Automation Platform based on evolving business and technical needs.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in Playwright Automation and Cypress for creating scalable and maintainable test automation suites.
• Solid understanding of Automation Framework design patterns and CI/CD integration for automated test execution.
• Hands-on skills in JavaScript and/or TypeScript for scripting automation test cases (preferred).
• Ability to perform root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging across distributed systems.
• Experience working with agile delivery environments and cross-functional project coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication and stakeholder-management skills.
