About the Role

Senior MERN Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using the
MERN stack
(MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js).
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using
TypeScript
and
JavaScript
.
Build and optimize user-facing interfaces using
React
.
Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, and integrations using
Node.js
and
Express.js
(or
Nest.js
if required).
Manage and optimize databases with
MongoDB
and work with relational databases like
PostgreSQL
when necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and share best practices with the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
5+ years of experience
in full-stack web development with a focus on the
MERN stack
.
Strong expertise in
JavaScript
and
TypeScript
.
Proficiency in building frontend interfaces using
React
and state management libraries (e.g., Redux).
Backend development experience with
Node.js
and
Express.js
(experience with
Nest.js
is a plus).
Hands-on experience with
MongoDB
and familiarity with relational databases like
PostgreSQL
.
Understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication methods (OAuth, JWT), and application security practices.
Proven experience in designing and creating
RESTful APIs
and integrating third-party
APIs.
Experience with Git and version control workflows.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
