Senior Merchant

You will be joining India's largest manufacturing company specializing in textile-based products for the Aviation & Hospitality Industry as a Senior Merchant at T&D Hospitality India LLP in Faridabad. In this full-time on-site role, your primary responsibilities will include managing supplier relationships, sourcing and procuring goods, overseeing end-to-end product development to production merchandising, and managing inventory. Your tasks will involve developing and implementing purchasing strategies, evaluating supplier performance, overseeing the procurement process, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Collaboration with other departments will be essential to meet organizational needs and deliverables. To excel in this role, you should possess expertise in product development, production merchandising, procurement, sourcing, and supplier management. Proficiency in costing, contract negotiation, and inventory management is crucial. A strong understanding of both woven and knit fabrics is required. Additionally, you should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with proven experience in developing purchasing strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. Your adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry, will be advantageous. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in merchandising, fashion/textiles, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field will be considered for this position.,
