Senior Merchandiser

Role & responsibilities

1) Experience as a merchandiser in a Knit& Woven Garment manufacturing unit.

2) Have extremely high energy levels to complete all merchandising activities on time.

3) Knowledge of all aspects of merchandising including costing, buyer interaction and supplier co-ordination (fabric and all trims)

4) Constantly liaise with production, purchase, accounts and sample room technicians.

5) Work with buyer teams on development samples and source appropriate fabric and trims.

6) Preparation of BOM, internal costing reports, review material tracking, prepare daily status reports to buyers and for internal stakeholders

7) Follow-up T & A on a regular basis to ensure on-time delivery with the right quality and quantity.

8) Closely monitoring the sampling approval process and on-time provide to the client for approval

9) In-house require materials on time to production according to T & A.

10) Sent the required materials (trims, fabric, etc.) for third-party test and provide the report to the client.

Qualification:

B. Tech (Textiles / Fashion technology / Designing / Textile Technology)
