Job Title: Senior Merchandiser

Department: Modern Trade

Reports to: Department Supervisor

Job Summary:

As a Senior Merchandiser in our Modern Trade department, your main job is to keep track of products and make sure everything runs smoothly. You'll work closely with others to manage inventory, coordinate operations, and visit stores to see how things are going.

 

Please Note:


Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Inventory Management:

  - Make sure we order the right amount of products and follow up on orders.

  - Arrange for products to be sent from the warehouse on time.

  - Keep our records up to date when products arrive.

  - Solve any problems if we don't have enough of a product.

  - Update our stock records regularly.

 

2. Operations and Coordination:

  - Move products between stores each week if needed.

  - Manage returns to vendors smoothly.

  - Talk to our team about promotions, discounts, and where products should go.

  - Handle the behind-the-scenes work for branding materials.

  - Work with our sales team to make sure stores have enough stock every two weeks.

  - Stay in touch with stores to know what's selling well and what's not.

  - Keep an eye on new stores that are opening.

3. MIS Reports:

  - Give out reports on sales every day.

  - Share a report on our stock levels every week.

  - Keep all our records accurate and organized.

 

4. Store Visits:

  - Visit stores in Mumbai once a month.

  - See how our products are doing and talk to the store teams.

  - Watch what our competitors are doing.

 

To-Do List:

- Make a schedule for ordering products from our partners.

- Create forms for ordering products on schedule.

- Plan when products should move between stores.

- Make extra reports as needed.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

- Have a degree in business or a related field.

- Know-how to manage products, ideally in a store.

- Good at solving problems and talking to people.

- Can use computer programs like Excel and PowerPoint.

- Work well by yourself or with a team.

- Pay close attention to details.

 

This job is all about keeping our products organized and making sure everything runs smoothly in our stores. You'll work with a team to make sure our shelves are stocked, our reports are accurate, and our customers are happy.

 

Working Days:

·       Monday to Saturday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

·       2nd & 4th Saturday off

Compensation:

·       INR 4,20,000 PA/ depends upon the candidate’s profile too.
