Senior Merchandiser

We are looking for the Candidates with good communication skill and a strong understanding of woven fabric. Preferred worked in shirts.

• Experience

  strictly from export houses

  with Background in

  woven casual mens shirts (

  Hackett , US polo , next , pepe jeans, Marcopolo

  )

• Strong merchandising experience with buyers, costing, sampling, production follow-up, and quality coordination

• The candidate should be handling the merchandising of premium and bridge-to-luxury garment

Skills Required

• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, patterns and documentation.
• Knowledge of garment parameters
• Understand the common requirements of buyers.
• Knowledge of common production problems
• Product Development OR Bulk
• Candidate must be woven background experience.

Role and responsibilities:

• Ability to generate cost sheet by obtaining fabric/trims costs
• Ensures all materials/approvals are in place prior to the PCD
• Ensures and checks that correct quality is maintained at the sampling stage / bulk stages.
• The quality of fabric/trims need to be monitored
• Effectively follows up the target with the concerned department & maintains cordial relationships with all the other departments in the organization
• Maintains cordial relationships & effectively communicates with the buying agent/buyer
• Clarify all details with buyers with regard to their requirements.
