Description
The Senior Two-Wheeler Technician at Royal Enfield is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Royal Enfield motorcycles. This role requires an expert level of technical knowledge in motorcycle engines, electrical systems, and components specific to Royal Enfield motorcycles. The Senior Technician will ensure that all repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety, while also mentoring and guiding junior technicians. This position also involves interacting with customers to ensure complete satisfaction and vehicle performance. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues specific to Royal Enfield motorcycles, including engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems. Perform complex repairs and troubleshooting on a variety of Royal Enfield models, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Conduct inspections and detailed assessments to ensure all issues are identified and accurately repaired. Carry out scheduled maintenance on Royal Enfield motorcycles, ensuring proper functioning of key systems, such as the engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems. Recommend appropriate service schedules and maintenance tasks to customers, enhancing the performance and longevity of their motorcycles. Provide technical expertise and training to junior technicians, apprentices, and support staff. Review and guide the team on complex repairs and ensure that all work meets Royal Enfield’s quality standards. Monitor performance, provide constructive feedback, and help technicians improve their technical and customer service skills. Interact with customers to discuss repair needs, vehicle issues, and maintenance requirements. Provide recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and improvements to optimize the performance of Royal Enfield motorcycles. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing accurate timelines for repairs and delivering high-quality service. Assist in managing inventory and ensure the availability of genuine Royal Enfield parts for repairs and maintenance. Liaise with the parts department to ensure quick and accurate ordering of necessary parts and components. Ensure proper storage, handling, and usage of parts to minimize waste and maintain cost-effective operations. Perform quality control checks after repairs to ensure motorcycles meet Royal Enfield’s safety and performance standards. Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations during repairs and maintenance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Royal Enfield’s latest service bulletins, technical updates, and warranty guidelines. Follow health and safety protocols while working with tools, machinery, and hazardous materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to ensure personal safety and prevent accidents.
