Senior Mechanical Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Sioux Technologies in Pune, India, you will be part of a high-tech family of over 1200 multidisciplinary engineers dedicated to building innovative products that make the world smarter, healthier, safer, and more sustainable. You will work on complex solutions daily and collaborate closely with global customers to deliver successful projects. Key Responsibilities: - Predesign: - Requirement collection, problem definition, gathering technical information, effort estimation, and clarifying customer goals. - Receive work RFQs. - Concept Design: - Brainstorm multiple solution approaches. - Create concept sketches and conduct feasibility analysis. - Finalize acceptable solutions with the customer. - Detail Design: - Generate specifications and perform mathematical calculations. - Create detailed 2D design drawings. - Integrate with electrical/electronic design modules. - Develop 3D models for simulations and test designs for functionality, performance, strength, and efficiency. - Design Optimization: - Develop final BOMs and design documents for production. - Create assembly instructions and quality control instructions using PLM tools. - Design Updations: - Correct and update old design documents for any changes made during production. - Update component libraries. Qualifications Required: - Education: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering. - Highly skilled in engineering and project management tools like Solidworks, AutoCAD, Creo, SCATIA, and Jeera. - Good to have Certifications: PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma. If you have a minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering design with expertise in precision equipment design in semicon, medical, or aerospace domains, then you are the ideal candidate for this role.
