More information can be found on our website: https://www.polycycl.com Position: Mechanical Engineer https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ofapV8WyAVKWKnN9e_sGKBmjcdUwss-P/view?usp=drive_link Work Experience: 5 - 15 years Hands-on experience in project execution and engineering package review in brownfield and greenfield projects Completely familiar with review of Basic Engineering Package contents like PID/PFD/Process data sheets, Equipment data sheets, Layouts, 3D models. Good knowledge of codes like ASME, ANSI, API. Mechanical design for large-scale reactors with ASME code compliance. Condition Monitoring: Scale-adapted vibration analytics, robotic inspection & NDT data logging. Hands-on experience in the erection and commissioning of rotating and static equipment like pumps, blowers, compressors, material handling equipment, reactors, dryers, etc. Thoroughly familiar with welding practices in steel structures, piping and static equipment welding to be able to monitor contractor activity and ensure quality of work. Able to draft and issue work contracts to engineering contractors for piping, equipment erection and installation. Safety: To ensure that all safety standards are maintained at the equipment design stage and the construction and installation phases of the project. Vendor management: Experience with procurement, vendor engagement and negotiation, and be able to manage relationships with external partners. Project Execution Tools: Experience with the use of advanced design technology platforms and integrated project execution tools for engineering design e.g. Jira, AVEVA E3D, Intergraph SmartPlant3D, AutoCAD. Strong leadership abilities: Ability to lead and motivate your team, set clear goals and expectations, and provide guidance and support to achieve them. Strategic thinking: Ability to think critically and make strategic decisions, analyze data and assess risks, and develop plans that align with the company's overall goals. Documentation skills: Ability to review and improve protocols and documents, and have experience in writing scientific documents.
