Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position

Department:

Purpose

• Lead erection, testing, and commissioning turbine and generator auxiliary systems.
• Plan and supervise piping, cooling water, lubrication, and sealing systems.
• Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and vendor specifications.
• Conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for auxiliaries.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (electrical, instrumentation, QA/QC, purchase).
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards during site execution.
• Monitor performance of auxiliary systems and optimize efficiency.
• Prepare technical reports, work schedules, and progress updates.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and supervisors at site.

Technical

• Strong knowledge of turbine and generator auxiliaries (condensers, pumps, heat exchangers, cooling towers, piping).
• Expertise in lube oil, seal oil, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, and technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience in erection, alignment, and commissioning of auxiliary equipment.
• Knowledge of vibration analysis, balancing, and condition monitoring.
• MS Office proficiency.

Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

• Remote, India (As per Company requirement).
