QA/QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor QA/QC activities related to tank fabrication, erection, welding, and inspection as per project specifications and standards (API 650 / ASME / IS codes).
• Review and verify material test certificates, welding consumables, and fabrication records.
• Conduct stage-wise inspection of tank construction (fit-up, welding, NDT, hydro test, final inspection).
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation (ITP, WPS, PQR, WQT, NCR, RFI, etc.).
• Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies (TPI) and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct internal audits, raise NCRs, and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
• Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments and welding machines.
• Monitor welder performance and ensure qualified welders are deployed.
• Support project execution team in resolving quality-related issues.
• Ensure proper documentation and handover of QA/QC dossiers at project completion.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–7 years of QA/QC experience in tank fabrication and erection projects.
• Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, MIG, SAW) and related codes.
• Familiarity with API 650, ASME Section IX, and international standards.
• Certified in CSWIP 3.1 / AWS-CWI / NDT Level II (UT, RT, PT, MT) is an added .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
