Senior Mechanical Engineer

Objective:-Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of factory machinery to prevent production disruptions and maintain continuous operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all critical machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate recurring failures and implement corrective actions to eliminate root causes.
• Machine Optimization: Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce wear.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and repair histories.
• Spare Parts Management: Ensure availability of essential spare parts and manage inventory levels.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to safety standards and ensure machinery complies with regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production, electrical, and automation teams to coordinate maintenance activities without affecting output.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in industrial machinery maintenance (preferably in manufacturing or production environments).
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, MIG Welding Mchine, and rotating equipment.
