Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Strategic Brand Positioning

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the companys growth roadmap and investor expectations. Establish IG Drones as the national leader in Defence, ISR, and AI-powered Drone Systems. Create high-impact brand narratives that reflect Atmanirbhar Bharat, deeptech innovation, and leadership in military-grade drone technology.

2. Growth & Demand Generation

Lead integrated marketing campaigns to drive lead generation across Defence, PSU, and B2B sectors.Collaborate with Sales and BD teams to create GTM strategies for new products (e.g., FPV Striker, 5G Drone, Drone Simulator).Manage funnel metrics: awareness engagement MQL SQL deal closure.

3. Digital, PR & Communication

Oversee digital presence (website, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, etc.) to ensure consistent, high-quality storytelling.Drive public relations with national media, defence journals, and international tech publications.Manage high-visibility campaigns around product launches, government events, and defence expos (DefExpo, Aero India, etc.).

4. Investor & Stakeholder Marketing

Support fundraising and investor communications pitch decks, performance updates, and media positioning.Align messaging with investors, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders like iDEX, Startup India, and DRDO.

5. Team Leadership & Ecosystem Building

Build and lead an agile marketing team including digital, content, PR, and design professionals. Manage creative agencies, PR partners, and event vendors for efficient execution. Establish performance KPIs for brand visibility, lead generation, and engagement ROI.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 4 - 7 years of experience in

    Marketing Leadership roles

    , preferably in

    DeepTech / Defence / Aerospace / Hardware / SaaS

    industries.
  • Proven track record in

    brand strategy, B2B marketing, digital marketing, and PR management

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    government procurement, defence ecosystem, and industrial technology marketing.

  • Exceptional storytelling, communication, and media relations skills.
  • Experience working in a

    fast-growth or startup environment

    preferred.
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Communications from a reputed institute preferred.
