Position Summary... Senior Manager, Service Reliability Engineering for Sams Club

What youll do...

About Team:
Building the right technology foundation for Cloud based Club applications is vital to success at the scale of Walmart. Our team builds and maintains the foundational technologies that support the Sam s Tech InClub organisation. Included in this are enterprise architecture, DevOps, cloud computing, and functional processes. All of these products and services are supported by scalable and powerful infrastructure, ensuring a secure and seamless employee and customer experience across clubs (Sam s Club stores) and digital channels.

What youll do:

You will work to ensure that critical application capabilities are achieved and plans are defined for critical business services with in Sam s Club based on criticality.
You will use automated tools to help determine readiness and provide feedback to improve the quality of the automation.
You will have the ability to identify opportunities to improve sustenance and recovery capabilities along with the governance processes.

What youll bring:

You will bring experience and an understanding of cloud based infrastructure, knowledge of the software development lifecycle, and integration with other platform services.
Knowledge of Cloud platform is essential.

Bachelors degree in engineering or information technology or related area with 10+ years of experience, with team management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Master s degree in engineering, Science, or related. Experience in native platforms like WCNP or OneOps would be additional advantage.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, computer information systems, or related area and 17 years experience in production support, software support, or technical support.
6 years supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications...

Both software and hardware troubleshooting., Master s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, computer information systems, or related area and 15 years of relevant experience in production support, software support or technical support., Technical support operations, account management, customer support, automation, analytics, reporting, supply chain, retail, or eCommerce.
