Senior Manager - Supply Chain

As a member of the G-ECO India Leadership Team at BASF, your role is crucial in providing the organization with a vision, direction, and collaborative framework in a high-performing environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Ensure compliance with BASF's license to operate in your area of responsibility by adhering to applicable laws, regulations, internal guidelines, policies, and ethical business practices. Keep the Managing Director informed of any compliance-related matters. - Lead the supply chain team in G-ECO India to achieve defined business targets. Coach and develop the team based on development needs and performance evaluations. - Devise and implement a supply chain strategy aligned with the G-ECO business strategy. Translate business needs into supply chain activities. - Collaborate closely with relevant business stakeholders to ensure smooth information and logistics flows, respond effectively to customer needs, and drive continuous improvement in processes and technology. - Design and implement customer and supplier performance management systems to track service levels and logistics services, monitor supply chain performance, establish partnership relationships, and optimize costs. - Establish and implement inventory control procedures, manage dysfunctional and slow-moving stock, identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain, develop risk mitigation plans, and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields (required); Master's degree in Business Management (preferred). - Minimum 10 years of working experience in supply chain management with at least 5 years of solid leadership experience. - Sound supply chain knowledge and experience (APICS CPIM certification preferred). - Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. - Fluent in English communication. - Proficient in system/tools such as SAP, Microsoft Office, Dashboard, and AI.
