• Lead end-to-end big data analytics strategy, execution, and governance to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.

What You ll Do

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify analytics opportunities, define KPIs, and deliver actionable insights using big data platforms and advanced analytics tools.
• Implement predictive modelling, machine learning, and Dataiku workflows, along with data visualization and automated analytics pipelines.
• Manage a portfolio of business within a specific category (such as US, Sam s, Grocery, Returns, etc.) for Warehouse Supplier concierge process, including overseeing the team and workflow.
• Assist in developing guidelines that govern carrier claim collections within the assigned category.
• Identify opportunities for improving processes and systems to prevent leakage and collaborate with the appropriate business area to implement these changes.
• Work closely with US team to collect funds from carriers, carrier fraud detection, and implement changes that reduce leakage.
• Lead forensic analysis of high-value shortage claims ($10,000+) to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor trends and anomalies in AP transactions and supply chain data to proactively identify risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and external partners to resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and refine processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency in shortage claim handling.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and data-backed insights.

What You ll bring

• Proven track record in managing enterprise-scale big data analytics programs with measurable business impact.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Expertise in SQL programming, big data technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and data governance best practices, with Dataiku experience as an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for improving processes and systems to prevent leakage.
• Deeply understand business operations, challenges, and pain points.
• Bridge the gap between business processes and requirements.
• Translate operational insights into actionable technical and analytical solutions.
• Lead initiatives that improve the accuracy of claims, automate processes, and enhance visibility for stakeholders.
• Experience in developing guidelines that govern carrier claim collections within the assigned category.
• Ability to manage a portfolio of business within a specific category for Warehouse & stores processes, including overseeing the team and workflow.
• Collaboration skills to work closely with the US team to collect funds from carriers, detect carrier fraud, and implement changes that reduce leakage.
• Strong understanding of financial and physical flow of goods across the supply chain
• Proven experience working with large datasets and conducting root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analytics tools such as Dataiku, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Demonstrated ability to work across internal and external stakeholders to drive resolution.
• Process improvement mindset with a track record of building or enhancing operational workflows.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment.
• Solid foundation in finance and accounting, with experience owning operational processes.

Position Requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor s or master s degree in data science, Data Engineering, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role overseeing big data and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Hands-on proficiency in SQL programming, Python/R, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark), and cloud data platforms, with Dataiku experience preferred.

• Strong experience and knowledge of Microsoft tools including MS Excel and Power point, SAP S4 hana.
• Experience in process improvement and transformation will be an added advantage
• Experience in Retail industry is an added advantage.
