Senior Manager R2R

As the Senior Manager for Record to Report (R2R) function at IHG Hotels & Resorts, your role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient close processes. You will lead a team of finance professionals, drive process excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own and lead the day-to-day operations of the R2R function including accounting, closing, intercompany, reporting, compliance, audit, internal controls, standardization, and automation. - Manage period-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring adherence to reporting timelines. - Lead a team providing accounting services and support, focusing on elevating processes and ways of working. - Collaborate with R2R regional leaders, Process Excellence team, and other finance team leaders to drive process improvements and automation initiatives. - Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and quality deliverables meet their requirements. - Develop and coach a highly motivated team, with proper succession planning and talent development. - Implement best practices and automation opportunities to enhance R2R efficiency and effectiveness. - Lead transformation projects involving ERP system upgrades, shared services, and digital finance initiatives. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. - Major accounting qualification preferred (CA/CWA/CS/CPA/CIMA/CFA/MBA(F)). - 10-15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with a focus on R2R. - Proficiency in GAAP/IFRS and Accounting Standards. - Demonstrated experience in managing people and driving process improvements using technology.
