Senior Manager - Projects

Roles and responsibilities:

• Knowledge in Construction, Fabrication, Erection, Electrical and Instrumentation is must

• Must have had experience in preparing project budgets, project time frames and managing resources.

• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring, and executing the assigned projects.

• Must be able to handle multiple project sites with multiple teams.

• Evaluating and analyzing the cost, work and material deviation using MS Project software.

• Responsible for monitoring the project process on a day-to-day basis.

• Should be fully aware of the government rules and regulations on setting up a new facility and to be able to advise the corporate office/stakeholders on the best location to set up the project

• Coordinating with the purchase department to ensure the timely delivery of the materials to avoid project delays.

• Regular review and updation of actual implementation status according to the project schedule.

• Inter-department team coordination for smooth functioning of the project.

• Need to have previous experience of setting up Greenfield operations in India from concept to commissioning.

• Must have strong negotiation skills to be able to negotiate with suppliers and vendors as the position will need to ensure that you secure the best possible deals for the business.

• Exposure to estimation and costing

Requirements:

• Educational qualification: Must hold a Chemical/Mechanical /Electrical Engineering Degree.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Management. (Preferably in Food processing Industry).

• Working knowledge of MSP is a must.

• Must have had experience in preparing project budgets, project time frames and managing resources.

• Self-starter, very self-reliant and capable of operating with minimum supervision.

• Must be well – organized and have good communication skills

• Should be able to handle a team of 4-5 engineers and consultants

• Working knowledge of AUTOCAD is required.

• Good inter-personal and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.

Must be willing to travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
