Job Description

Telecom Strategist and Leader

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategies for Optical Fiber and Transport Network expansion
Identify and secure opportunities with telecom operators, ISPs, governments, and funding agencies (e.g., World Bank)
Lead OFC network design, ROW acquisition, GIS mapping, and deployment planning
Manage multi-vendor negotiations, ensuring technical compliance and project delivery
Advise senior stakeholders on digital transformation and network modernization initiatives
Ensure project governance, financial modeling, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors/Masters in Electronics/Telecom Engineering or IT (MBA preferred)
15+ years in Telecom/IP/MPLS/Optical Networks with leadership experience
Expertise with major OEMs (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, CIENA, etc.)
Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS, SDN-WAN, MW planning, OFC, ROW management
Proven ability to lead multi-regional teams and consulting engagements
Preferred: Experience in World Bank/donor-funded ICT projects and telecom policy consulting
