You are Responsible for

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Hire Onboarding:

  • Onboarding Strategy to action : Create a detailed roadmap to action the strategy to assimilate new hires. Design and implement a comprehensive new hire onboarding program, ensuring that new employees are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and culture alignment needed to succeed in their roles. 
  • End-to-End Process Management: Oversee the complete onboarding journey from pre-boarding to the completion of the onboarding phase, collaborating with HR, IT, and all relevant department heads.
  • Experience Design: Continuously improve the onboarding experience to create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging environment that supports new hires in their initial months and instills a sense of pride in them.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and governance: Work closely with senior leadership, HR, and department heads to align onboarding content with business updates, Organization history, cultural values, and performance expectations. Develop metrics and tools to measure the effectiveness of the onboarding programs. run regular governance connects with key stakeholders to continuously improve.
  • Technology Utilization: Leverage digital tools, learning management systems (LMS), and other technologies to deliver a scalable and efficient onboarding experience.

2. Strategic planning, Change Management & Continuous Improvement:

  • Learning Strategy Alignment: Align new hire onboarding initiatives with the companys overall strategic goals and values, ensuring the programs contribute to improved employee performance and engagement.
  • Adaptability: Stay current on industry trends, emerging learning technologies, and best practices in onboarding.
  • Innovation: Champion innovation in learning methods and delivery, experimenting with new formats, tools, and approaches to enhance learning outcomes.

Feedback Loop: Establish a system for collecting and acting on feedback from new hires and employees to refine and improve the learning processes continuously.

To succeed in this role – you should have the following

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 11+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focused on onboarding and/or behavioral learning. Experience in eCommerce or large-scale organizations is highly preferred.
  • Educational Background: Master’s degree in Human Resources/ Organizational Development/Organizational Psychology.
  • Certification in psychometric (DISC, HOGAN) tools, Certification in Facilitation skills is a plus
  • Passionate about exploring different Tech solves like AR/VR, AI/ML based solutions et al to enhance learner experience will be a plus
  • Curious and informed about content platforms and adoption strategies to drive self paced learning

  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Proven track record in designing and executing impactful new hire onboarding and behavioral learning programs.
    • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) , learning content platforms and eLearning tools.
    • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
    • Analytical mindset, with experience using data to measure learning outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
    • High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.

    • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to drive initiatives independently.
    • Collaborative and able to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
