Role Overview: As a senior manager of the network operations team in India at Oracle, you will lead a team of network engineers responsible for ensuring the 24x7 network operations of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure. Your role includes monitoring and managing the physical network infrastructure across all data centers and regions to maintain high service availability, meet business needs, service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and lead a team of highly skilled network operations engineers - Ensure network infrastructure operational health and high service availability to meet business needs and customer satisfaction - Implement and refine network operations procedures, standards, and policies to align with best practices and SLAs - Establish incident and problem management procedures to enhance network operations efficiency - Coordinate with other engineering areas and stakeholders on technology deployments and upgrades - Implement a NOC performance measurement framework and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement - Encourage communication of new ideas, solutions, and problems among team members - Participate in continuous learning and professional development activities Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in delivering and operating large-scale production network environments - 5-10 years of experience in an engineering and operations management role - Technical leadership and management experience - Proficiency in organizational, verbal, and written communication skills - Experience working with data-driven analytics and large data sets - Strong judgment in influencing product roadmap direction and priorities - Project planning, tracking, and execution skills using appropriate tools - Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Hardware Engineering, or related field Additional Details: Oracle, as a world leader in cloud solutions, partners with industry leaders across sectors and thrives on innovation and integrity for over 40 years.
