Senior Manager Finance Operations

About the Opportunity

Are you someone who thrives on structure, accountability, and purpose-driven work? We are looking for an Operations Manager to be deployed by our Firm at a school being run by a NGO focused on education, sustainability, and social empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Control

  : Oversee and verify day-to-day bills, payments, vendor invoices, and petty cash transactions.

• SOP Compliance

  : Ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) laid out by the management and CA Firm are strictly followed.

• Audit-Readiness

  : Maintain all documentation and records in an audit-friendly manner—no “missing files” allowed.

• Vendor & Purchase Oversight

  : Validate purchases against approved requisitions, budgets, and vendor terms.

• On-ground Liaison

  : Coordinate between the implementing team and the back-office for smooth operations.

• Monthly Stock Checks

  : Oversee physical verification of stock and relevant adjustments

• Monthly Reporting

  : Provide timely reports to seniors for MIS purpose

• AI Knowledge

  : Basic knowledge and understanding of using simple AI tools

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Operations, Accounts / Audit roles. NGO or field-based experience is a bonus.
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce or Business. CA Inter/Articleship completed candidates preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, documentation, and invoice validation.
• A structured thinker with the heart to serve and the discipline to drive impact.
• Working knowledge of Zoho Books
