Senior Manager Decision Sciences

Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Delivery

  • Lead strategic planning and execution of projects within the Decision Sciences vertical.
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage scope, risks, dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive timely delivery of high-quality analytical solutions.

2. Analytical Products & Solution Development

  • Drive the development and enhancement of analytical products for commercial and marketing analytics.
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify new trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and domain experts to define product requirements.
  • Guide the lifecycle from ideation and prototyping to testing, deployment, and ongoing improvements.
  • Design, develop, and deploy complex and innovative analytical solutions.

3. Research & Development (R&D)

  • Conduct continuous research on advanced statistical methodologies, analytics techniques, and pharma analytics trends.
  • Evaluate new statistical models, AI/ML algorithms, and their feasibility.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to run experiments, analyse results, and propose advanced solutions.
  • Translate research insights into actionable recommendations; contribute to thought leadership (publications, white papers, conferences).

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Applied Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related discipline.

Experience

  • 5–12 years of experience in Decision Sciences / Commercial Analytics in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience managing and delivering complex pharma analytics projects.
  • Strong expertise in commercial analytics including:
    • Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) & Investment Optimization
    • Campaign Analytics
    • HCP / Account Segmentation
    • Performance Analytics
  • Preferred experience: Patient Analytics, Market Access, Sales Analytics.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams on complex analytical projects.

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Python, R, SAS, SQL.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML techniques and their applications in decision sciences.

Communication & Leadership

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership ability with experience guiding teams.
