Job Description

As a Senior Manager in the Business Intelligence team at HSBC, your role will involve delivering Service Performance Metrics across Enterprise Ops and prioritizing initiatives to exceed customer needs and improve staff engagement. You will translate business challenges into data needs, build trusting relationships with internal customers and countries, and influence senior management for agenda and action items. Additionally, you will agree on approaches, implementation plans, and timelines for global projects and change initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver Service Performance Metrics across Enterprise Ops - Prioritize initiatives to exceed customer needs and improve staff engagement - Translate business challenges into data needs - Build and sustain trusting relationships with internal customers and countries - Influence senior management for agenda and action items - Agree on approaches, implementation plans, and timelines for global projects and change initiatives - Ensure consistency and standardization across Enterprise reporting - Define and enforce governance standards across Data and Reporting working groups - Act as the Quality Assurance Lead - Provide coaching on methods/tools usage - Review outputs and ensure quality and timelines - Challenge colleagues and drive a culture of continuous improvement - Maintain awareness of operational risk and ensure due observance of HSBC Internal Control Standards Qualifications: - Well-developed leadership skills at all levels - Detailed knowledge of the organization and ability to mobilize networks - Ability to drive the agenda, influence, and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders - Proven ability to deliver results in a matrix organization - Strong business acumen and ability to make trade-off decisions - Project management/change management experience - Self-starter with experience in major program management techniques Good to have additional skills: - Business Analysis - Data governance - Data automation management - Business and technical stakeholder engagement and communication - Technical documentation At HSBC, you will have the opportunity to achieve more and contribute to the growth and success of the organization.
