Job Description

.

Develop and optimize advanced queries using
Search Processing Language (SPL)
to support complex data transformations and security use cases.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to
Splunk forwarders, indexing performance, and data ingestion
across distributed environments.
Lead efforts in
performance tuning and optimization
of Splunk infrastructure to ensure scalability and reliability.
Conduct routine
health checks, upgrades, app deployments
, and implement new features to enhance platform capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
integrate external systems
with Splunk, focusing on
security event logging and telemetry onboarding
.
Onboard and transform raw data into actionable insights by creating
correlation searches, alerts, dashboards, reports, and workflow automation
.
Implement and support
SOAR platforms
, including the development of
custom playbooks
for automated incident response.
Demonstrate deep expertise in
Splunk architecture, infrastructure design
, and
content development
for threat detection and compliance.
Build and maintain
custom Splunk apps, data models, dashboards, and reports
tailored to SOC and executive requirements.
