Senior Lab Chemist – Cationic Dyes

Department: Dyes- Application Lab
Location: Delhi

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize cationic dye formulations for textile and industrial applications
• Conduct lab-scale synthesis and evaluate dye performance on various substrates
• Perform physical and chemical testing of dyes (shade matching, fastness, solubility, pH, etc.)
• Use instruments like UV-Vis spectrophotometer, FTIR, HPLC, and colorimeters for analysis
• Ensure batch consistency and adherence to quality standards
• Maintain detailed lab records, SOPs, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve dyeing issues and improve application methods
• Recommend process modifications to enhance dye stability and performance
• Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations in chemical handling
• Support audits and regulatory documentation as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• M.Sc. / B.Tech in Chemistry, Textile Chemistry, or related field
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in cationic dye development or application
• Strong understanding of dye chemistry, textile substrates, and dyeing processes
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments and analytical techniques
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior chemists

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
